St. Patrick’s Day Cupcakes and Gift Box

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! As you may remember from Valentine’s Day, I love my Crate and Barrel mini muffin pan for making tiny cupcakes. I whipped up a batch of vanilla cupcakes today and thought it would be fun to make a gift box for giving a few away.

My St. Patrick’s Day cupcakes, decked out in Irish style – Wilton shamrock cupcake liners (available at Michaels)

I’m always keeping packaging to reuse it again, and this Coach gift box turned out to be the perfect size. (It’s also super sturdy, which is important for storing food.) I just needed to “green it up” a bit.

Some green paper, Anna Griffin patterned paper (doesn’t the print look Celtic?) and a felt shamrock sticker was all it took to cover up the Coach logo on the front.

The orange inside was a little bit tricky, it just required some extra measuring, scoring, cutting and careful adhering to cover up the interior “walls.” Green tissue paper covers the bottom.

With the cupcakes inside, the box is ready to go!
